Our Food and Menus


Try Papa Felipe's
for lunch or dinner, or any time in between. Eat in, or take it out. Choose our special, signature dishes from from our regular menu or, for the value-minded, select from our Fiesta menu.

We use only the best and freshest ingredients and, from scratch, make the best tasting dishes in Albuquerque.

Signature dishes include
our very own Green Chile Carne Adovada, Flautas de Chimayo, Burrito Grande, just to mention a few, and very special appetizers such as our Botana Crispeante. Plus, we have your Mexican and New Mexican food favorites like tacos, burritos, enchiladas and, of course, fresh, homemade salsa.

May We Suggest ...


Meat Burritos - A flour tortilla wrapped around your choice of beef or chicken smothered with chile sauce, topped with melted cheese and garnish. Make it a carne adovada burrito for only $1 more.

Botana Crispeante - Spicy beef, chicken or carne adovada filing, crisp fried as a chimipqueno. Dip them in the Chile con queso and guacamole which is provided, and savor. For an extra taste treat, try a combination. (Plate of six with dips)

Chile Rellenos - Prepared in the traditional way with a large, full chile pod. Green chile prepared with two cheeses and fried in egg batter. Covered with green chile and garnish. Choose a plate of one or two.

Tacos - A crisp fried corn tortilla filled with your choice of beef, chicken or carne adovada with salad garnish and red or green Chile or salsa

Tostada de California -Discovered on a recent trip to a strange land, it's a delight to the palate and the eye. Shredded chicken, sprouts and avocado with a touch of green Chile served salad-like in a large cupped tortilla shell with cheese and sour cream garnish

Chilaquile Casserole - Layer upon layer of carne adovada, melted cheese, spicy green vegetables, sweet corn and tostadas smothered in red Chile sauce. Baked to perfection and topped with yet more cheese, chile and garnish. Includes guacamole salad and a flour tortilla. Great with an egg for an additional charge.

Enchiladas - Beef or cheese with white corn tortillas served flat or rolled, topped with chile and garnish. Blue corn enchiladas served flat only.

Navajo Tacos - Indian Fry Bread layered with choice of carne adovada, taco meat or chicken, whole beans, shredded cheese, lettuce, diced tomatoes, onions, and melted cheddar cheese. Choice of red or green chile.
